My name is Ciara, and I am so excited to be a part of the DWSP team as a graduate Speech Pathologist.
A little bit about me: I am a very fun and energetic person. I love to travel which lead me to pursue a 7-month exchange program during my studies. In this time, I was able to backpack around Europe which inspired my love for food.
On the weekends you will find me eating a delicious meal with friends, swimming at the beach or walking my 6-year-old Border Collie named Baxter.
Throughout school I was always drawn to the English language. This continued throughout my Arts degree where I majored in linguistics. I also enjoyed working with kids throughout my university studies, working as a swim teacher and later as a therapy assistant. It was the combination of these passions that drew me to the Speech Pathology profession.
As a Speech Pathologist I love to provide my clients with the confidence and skills to express their wants and needs, as well as supporting their social and educational development.
